Camperships can be granted in accordance with Far East Council policy. The approval authority for these grants resides with the Council Campership Committee; the NYLT Course Director and Staff Members do not play a role in the awarding of camperships. If you wish to apply for a campership, please register for the event and pay your $100 deposit, and then fill out the campership form in the attachments menu and email to campership@fareastcouncil.org and to Rob Davis at robert.davis@scouting.org. The deadline for applying for a campership with priority consideration is 90 days prior to the start of a Council event, which for NYLT this year is March 24th 2024. After that date camperships will only be considered on a case-by-case basis and with remaining funds after priority distributions are made. If granted a campership, the award amount will be applied to your final balance in your registration and you'll pay the difference in your registration. For more information on camperships, please refer to the Council Webiste Campership Section: https://www.fareastcouncil.org/camping/camperships
