You choose the classes you would like to take (sign up early as some classes have limited space). Classes are led by experienced volunteers and professionals. Be prepared to learn and share a “boat load” of ideas.
We are expecting record breaking attendance this year so register early. Participant check-in begins at 7:00AM. As you might imagine, lines become long. Please come as early as you are able. There will be a coffee truck for hanging out with old friends and meeting new friends.
New this year We are bringing back Position Specific training for Cubmasters and Assistants, Scoutmasters and Assistants, and District Committee. This training will improve credibility and confidence to lead youth & improve your units trained leader percentage.
Winning Together with your fellow scouters and enhancing your ability to deliver a fun and exciting program for our Scouting youth.
Our 2026 University of Scouting theme…Winning Together! How do we do this, you might ask? Together, we will share our Scouting knowledge, ideas and experiences, to improve our program, support each other and better serve our youth.
It is a time to gather, network with others, hone your skills and recharge your batteries for a great Scouting year ahead. If you have attended The University of Scouting in the past – “Welcome back”. For those who are attending for the first time, we welcome you and know you will find your time will be well spent.
The course offerings are sorted by Colleges: Cub Scouting, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scouts, Explorers and General Studies.
This is the largest single day of training event for adults and youth in the Circle Ten Council. Be sure to invite others from your unit, district or council to attend and share their scouting knowledge and join us Winning Together!
New this year: The University Midway area will be dedicated to vendors from outside of Scouting, who will share information on how they can provide products or services to enrich your program. A newly created Program area will be focused on promoting the wide range of programs in Scouting offered within and outside of Circle Ten Council which are available to provide a better experience for our Scouts and Scouters.
