Get ready for a full day of discovery, hands on learning, and college campus adventure! STEM University at SIUE gives Scouts the chance to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through engaging merit badge and NOVA courses led by knowledgeable instructors in a real university setting.

Sign in begins at 8:00 am
Opening Ceremonies at 8:30 am
Event runs until approximately 4:00 pm
Sign-in and Opening Ceremonies will take place in Science East 1136, the lower auditorium. Classes will be held in Science East, Science West, and Engineering Hall.
Cost and Registration:
Youth early bird fee is $20
Youth regular fee is $25, after early bird ends
Adult and leader fee is $10
Early bird pricing ends at midnight on Monday, January 19th, 2026
Registration closes Friday, January 23rd, 2026 or when capacity is reached
The registration fee includes lunch with pizza, soda, and chips, a STEM University patch, and all program materials.
Payments and registration are accepted online only. No late registrations or walk ins will be allowed. Out of Council Scouts are welcome to attend!
What to Bring:
- Scouts should bring the merit badge pamphlets/worksheets for the classes they are taking, along with paper and a pencil.
- Electronic blue cards will be sent out after the event.
- Please remember to complete and bring the required SIUE waiver with you on event day.
- Be sure to check your email before the event for important updates for Scouts and parents!

Adult Training Opportunity:
A free Nova Counselor and Supernova Mentor training will be offered from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in Science East 1136, the lower auditorium.
STEM University Expectations:
All Scouts and adults should attend in field uniform and be prepared to participate.
Leaders and parents must register separately if they wish to receive lunch.
Adult leaders may be asked to assist in classrooms or help monitor hallways.
Scouts are expected to remain in their assigned areas during class times.
No food or drinks are allowed in classrooms.
Electronic devices are not permitted during classes.
Scouts should conduct themselves according to the Scout Oath, Scout Law, and Outdoor Code.
Please help us respect SIUE facilities and practice Leave No Trace throughout the day.
