2026 Big Muddy & Egyptian Districts Cub Scout Adventure Camp

The Big Muddy & Egyptian Districts Cub Scout Adventure Camp is open to all current Cub Scouts and non-scouts, boys and girls, entering grades 1st through 5th in the Fall.
Join us for a fun filled 3 days of exciting activities like BBs, Archery, Games, Crafts, Nature, STEM and more! Camp will begin at 8:45AM and conclude at 4:15PM, June 11 - 13 at Pine Ridge Scout Camp - 1139 Pine Ridge Ln, Makanda, IL 62958
Event Registration Costs
- Cub Scout Youth & Non-Scout Youth (K-5th Grade) - $65
- Cub Scout Youth (With Overnight Camping Option) - $85
- Parent / Den Leader & Den Chief (Walk-Around Only) - No Fee
- Parent / Den Leader & Den Chief (With Overnight Option) - $20
- Additional patches - $3 each (May 6th deadline)
- Additional shirts - $14 each (May 6th deadline)
Shirts and patches are not included for adults, parents, or den leaders, but are available to purchase through the registration. All shirt and patch selections and purchases, youth or adult, must be completed by May 6. Additional orders cannot be accepted after this date, as the final order will be placed on May 7.
Overnight Option
There will be an overnight option to stay overnight on Friday Night. This experience is an additional $20. This will include a simple dinner, campfire, and camping experience along with breakfast and lunch for Saturday. When registering, you will only need to choose the "with Overnight" option to attend.
What to Bring
- Medical forms A and B (no physical needed)
- Insect Repellent, Sunscreen, Rain Gear
- Reusable Water Bottle
- Sack Lunch
- Backpack or Day Pack
- Any Medications Needed
- Money for Trading Post (snacks and inexpensive items)
- Closed Toe Shoes (NO FLIP FLOPS OR SANDELS)
Leadership Requirements
Units should provide leadership for this camp.
Each Pack will need to have 2 Den Leader Walk Arounds for every 8 Scouts each day of the duration of the camp. The Den Leader will be responsible for checking-in the Scouts, walking them to each station, extra hands at stations, discipline if needed for their Scouts. Please work with your pack to insure there is proper leadership for your Pack. Tiger Scouts (those entering 1st grade as of the fall of 2026), will need to have an adult partner with them each day of camp.
