2025 Cub Scout / Webelos Resident Summer Camp @ Tawakoni

What is it? Three days where cubs explore and have fun!
Theme/Activities? Theme is Outdoor Adventure! Activities will be announced!!!!!
When? June 26th - June 29th, 2025
Times- Overnight units will arrive at 5pm on Thursday the 26th for check in and set up. Day Campers will arrive on Friday July 27th at 8 am for check in and be ready for program at 9am. All campers will be off property by 4pm on June 29th.
Where? Camp Tawakoni, 8492 SW Tawakoni Rd, Augusta, KS 67010-8111
Supervision? Must have registered leader with two-deep leadership and current YPT.
Cost? This year's price structure is based upon facility costs at Camp Tawakoni. All fees include meals for all three days starting with lunch on the 27th and ending lunch on the 29th.
Day Camp Youth(Not camping on property, Lunch Only)- $130 per Scout. $50 per Adult
Tent Camping- $190 per Scout. $80 per Adult
Cabin Camping- $250 per Scout. $130 per Adult
NOTE: Fees above are based on one Scout and Parent from a family. If a family is bringing more than one Scout cost for those youth as follows:
Day Camp: $110 per extra youth per family
Tent Camping: $170 per extra youth per family
Cabin Camping: $230 per extra youth per family
FOOD- All meals are prepared by Camp Tawakoni Dining Services and included in your registration. Day Campers will be provided lunch only.
Refunds? Refunds are not available, but fees may be transferred to another Scout or Adult under same registration number.
Registration? Last day for unit deposits February 13th, 2025 @ 11:59pm Registration opens February 14th, 2025 and will close April 15th, 2025 at 11:59pm.
Register at Quivira’s page (www.quivira.org – Things to Do). Payments must be made online and can be by check or card. Pre-registration is important so that we can properly supply and prepare the event and its activities. Make sure all adults have completed YPT and copies of their certificates at check in.
Records? BSA Health Forms Part A, B, & C required upon arrival (submit copies). Forms can be found attached under the "register here" buttons.
Insurance? Liability, Sickness & Accident Insurance are provided for all registered BSA members of the Quivira Council.
T-Shirts must be ordered and paid for by April 15th, 2025 or units will not recieve them!
