Event Details

2024 Webelos Woods

October 18 - 20 @ QSR

What is it?  Webelos Woods serves as a stepping stone for Webelo and Arrow of Light scouts and their parents to transition into Scouts BSA through a series of fun-filled demonstrations, activities, and adventures that represent what awaits them in a troop. Hosted by White Buffalo District.

This year there will be unique programs for both Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts!

Activities? On Saturday, Scouts will learn about First Aid, Camp Cooking, Rope Making, Knots, Monkey Bridge, Nature Hikes, Shooting Sports, Equipment Branding, and More! On Sunday, Scouts will participate on a hike through beautiful Quivira Scout Ranch learning more about the facility and the nature that surrounds it.

Supervision? All units must have two-deep leadership and comply with Youth Protection guidelines. All adults in attendance shall have current Youth Protection training.

Cost? Early bird registration cost is $22 per youth and $15 per adult if paid in full by September 20th. Regular registration cost is $27 per youth and $20 per adult. Registration fee includes a patch, carabiner, and program supplies. Units are responsible for their own meals. Last day to register online is October 4th. Event T-shirts will be available to order through Black Pug. Tentative cost of $12, must be ordered by early bird cutoff.

Refunds? This is a rain or shine event. Refunds are not available, but fees may be transferred to another Scout or Adult under the same registration number.

Registration? This event is open to Webelo & AOL scouts, NO tagalongs allowed. Pre-registration is required in order for us to provide program materials to all participants. Register online through Black Pug at “www.quivira.org – Things to Do”. Payments must be made online and can be by check or card. At check-in, units shall provide a current roster and BSA Medical Form A&B (680-001: 2019 printing) for every youth and adult participant.

Insurance? Liability, Sickness & Accident Insurance are provided for all registered BSA members of the Quivira Council.

When making filling out your registration, please double check that you are registered as your pack and not the troop.
