You’re invited to join us for a rootin’ tootin’ FUN time in the WILD, WILD, WEST! Camp Mountaineer will be welcoming in all the area Buckaroo Scouts for an old-fashioned Parent-N-Pal Weekend!
Visiting the Ranch and Accommodations
Units can check in Friday evening to get settled into their cowboy campsites. Or units can check in together Saturday morning at 9am for the “DAY EXPERIENCE” to explore the ranch.
WHO: Cub Scouts
- Weekend programming will be appropriate for Cub Scouts.
- Scouts BSA youth can register with the Pack with the expectation that they are acting as a den chief for the Pack, and helping the adult Pack leaders throughout the weekend.
- There are two options for adults attending:
- Day Adults (Saturday Only): All adults attending on Saturday must have a current Safeguarding Youth (or Youth Protection) Training certificate.
- Adults Staying Overnight: Per MAC policy, all adults camping overnight at any district or council activity must be currently registered in Scouting America with a current Safeguarding Youth Training certificate.
- Lions and Tigers must have an adult partner with them.
- Note for either option: not registered, non-scout siblings are unable to attend.

REGISTRATION CLOSES: September 25, 2026
- Packs should submit ONE SINGLE registration for the unit. Single registrations for Scouts and parents cannot be accommodated.
- Campsite selection is completed in the "registrant contact" area of the registration form. Please note that campsites are assigned first-come, first served.
- Slots are transferrable, and the name, rank, and other details can be changed by editing your registration.
- All youth and adults must bring a copy of their Annual Health and Medical Record, Parts A & B.
- Staff can register individually if you are not participating with a unit (approved by the event chair).
COST:
- Scouts: $30 Early-Bird (before Sept 11) | $40 Regular (after Sept 11)
- Adults: $25 Early-Bird (before Sept 11) | $35 Regular (after Sept 11)
- Includes meals on Saturday, event patch, camping, and activities.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
Safeguarding Youth Training: All adults are required to be current on their Youth Protection Training. This can be completed online prior to arrival online at www.My.Scouting.org. Please provide a copy of your completed SYT training certificate and bring to camp.
