Scouting is a game with a purpose

All Scouts, prospective Scouts, leaders, parents, and volunteers are invited to attend the Tidewater University of Scouting. This jamboree style event offers interactive trainings & certifications, hands-on activities & adventures, merit badges & advancement opportunities, and personalized Scout quests to earn prizes & rewards.

Trading Post - Pre-orders Closed
Pre-orders for limited edition 2025 merchandise have closed so we can prepare the orders for pickup. We have a limited number of extra Patches, Neckerchiefs, & T-shirts which will be available for sale at the Midway Trading Post (Noon - 4:00 PM).

Pre-orders should be included in your Check-in Packet. If there aren't, please visit the Midway Trading Post. If you ordered merchandise last year but never picked it up, it will be available onsite at the Trading Post.

• Merit Badge Academy offers a range of badges, including several required for Eagle Scout.
• Youth Academy is an opportunity for youth learn additional leadership skills.

Junior Academies - Bring the Whole Family!
To ensure we have full coverage in all rooms, we request that participating families volunteer as either event staff, Akela's Academy staff, or Dragon Academy staff for a couple hours.

• Dragon Academy will entertain Lions, Tigers, and younger siblings for a fun-filled day of adventure.
• Akela’s Academy welcomes Wolf, Bear, Webelos, and Arrow of Light Scouts for fun adventures while working on advancements
