This event will be free and open to the public on April 29th from 10:30 AM - 4:00 PM. This registration is only for Troops, Packs, Volunteers, Vendors, and Non-profits ONLY. 

Scout-O-Rama will be held April 28th – 30th in Spring Lake Park, Texarkana, Texas. This year’s theme is “Year of the Fox” one of our fellow woodbadge animals. The event will feature outdoor activities, scout craft, pioneering, and showmanship. Scout Packs & Troops will be able to camp at the park on Friday and Saturday night, camping cost is $10/person. Packs and Troops can participate in a special campfire program Friday night, hosted by the Akela Wahinapay Lodge 232. Every unit is encouraged to plan an outdoor exhibit to share in the Scout Yard. This could include crafts, games, Scout skills, pioneering, and all-around fun with other Scouts and visitors. This should be a super event with a “mini- Jamboree” style atmosphere.

Scout-O-Rama will be open to the public only on April 29th from 10:30 am till 4:00 PM. The event provides opportunities for Scouts to demonstrate the skills they have learned in Scouts BSA, as well as provide an insight into the Scouting experience for those that are not involved. Food trucks, non-profit organizations, and other vendors will be at this community wide event!

A sanctioned ICS chili cook-off will take place on April 29th as well!

The weekend-long event provides an outdoor, family-friendly program where everyone can find something to enjoy.

You may register your Unit (Pack or Troop) to camp/attend and/or as a Vendor (limited number of spots available) or become a Sponsor. Registration for all events will open on March 1st at CaddoBSA.org. ICS Chili competitors will need to register through the ICS website. https://www.chilicookoff.com/about/ics-cook-offs
