Join us for BSA Klondike Derby! Klondike will be held January 17th with option to camp overnight! All overnight campers must leave by 9 AM Sunday! Registration is $15/Person. Must dress for the weather anyone not dressed appropriately will not be able to participate in the derby! This includes footwear (no sneakers, sandals, crocs) YOU WILL BE TURNED AWAY! We do not want cold feet and neither do you!-Snow boots or water proof footwear as well as warm socks needed.

Check in at 8-8:30 AM No late entries. Event will start at 9 AM.

Bring Troop flags, water, sun protection, Klondike sled and medical forms

Camping is very rustic-come prepared

All units must provide their own meals, cooking supplies,water etc

Due to Safegaurding Youth Training (SYT) and Guide to Safe Scouting (GSS) Rules there are no adults, younger siblings that are not registered in their troop allowed on site while program is taking place please make prior arrangements! ALL ADULTS IN CAMP MUST HAVE CURRENT SYT WITHIN 1 YEAR OF TAKING THE CLASS!!!! YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE AND WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO STAY ON SITE! PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL SYT IS CURRENT!

FIRST 150 YOUTH WILL GET A PATCH SO REGISTER. DON'T WAIT

Travel on Highway 70 or Highway 54 to Alamogordo. Take Highway 82 up the mountain for 16 miles towards Cloudcroft. Pass through Cloudcroft and the camp entrance is on the right 1.5 miles from the center of town.
