WHAT IS PACCS?

PACCS is a group of 7 Councils offering degrees in Commissioner Science including the Bachelor, Master and Doctor of Commissioner Science. Also offered are Post Graduate Courses and Roundtable specific training. The college is generally conducted during the first weekend of June each year. This year's college will be a weekend event held at Western Carolina University May 31 - June 2, 2024.

2024 Fee Structure

• Full Weekend ONSITE - $132.00 includes all meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Does NOT include dinner on Friday evening. 2 per room, 2 rooms share bathroom
• Full Weekend OFFSITE - $70.00; includes all meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Does NOT include dinner on Friday evening. Also does not include accomodations for the weekend.
• Two-Day Participant - $91.00; includes breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Does NOT include dinner on Saturday or breakfast on Sunday. Private room with shared bathroom.
• Saturday Participant Only - $36.00; includes lunch on Saturday.
• Private Room Fee - $15 per night if private room desired versus shared with one other (will still share bathroom with another room of 2)
• Private Suite Fee - $52 per night - includes private room and bathroom.
• If you are staying onsite you will be responsible for bringing your own linens. If you would like for us to provide linens for you, there will be an additional $20 charge. **Please note** everyone will need to bring their own pillow, even if we are providing linens for you.
• Shirts are available for an additional charge. **Please Note: shirts are not included in your registration fee** This year's shirt style is a teal polo shirt. Links are listed below for specific information on the male/female cut. All shirt orders must be placed by April 30, 2024.

GOAL

To provide a source for Councils to continue to improve Commissioner teams and programs to help Units properly deliver the Scouting program to the youth. One resource to facilitate this is a good solid training program. The PACCS provides that training and attendance by all Commissioners, as well as other interested registered Scouters is encouraged.

REGISTRATION

To register for the 2024 PACCS college you can either mail your registration form to the Palmetto Council Service Center (420 S. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306) or register online. **Please Note** Staff members should select "Staff Only" only if you are NOT planning on taking classes. If you will be taking classes, please select the course you will be attending.
