Super Weekend - Scouts BSA

Event Details

Spend the weekend on the Oregon Coast with your Troop with some added perks.

Scouts BSA Troop Super Weekend

Is your Troop looking to shake up its regular weekend campout? Does a weekend at the Oregon Coast sound fun? Do you have Scouts that need a little boost to finish merit badges or First Class requirements? A Super Weekend at Camp Meriwether might be just the thing you need – it's a troop campout with just a few summer camp perks!

Who:

Registered Scouts BSA youth (ages 11-17) and adults. All adults must be currently registered members with their Troop to attend.

What:

This is a Troop campout supplemented with some programs being offered by volunteer staff. The program for the Meriwether Super Weekends has been developed so the Scouts in your unit can take full advantage of many program areas at camp. Several areas will be open for the majority of program time.

Activities:

  • Range and Target Activities
  • 40′ Climbing Tower
  • Nature
  • Hikes
  • Beach and Tide pools
  • Trail to First Class

Cost:

Youth costs are listed on the registration page. There is no cost for adults unless they are attending a training course.

Adult Leader Training Courses:

Training courses offered for adult leaders vary depending on the weekend. Check the class catalog listed in the attachments box on this page for more information about trainings, schedules, and offerings. Adults that are only attending a training course and not with a unit meals will be provided, additional costs may apply depending on the training course.
