Cutthroat Kitchen Cooking Competition Camp

Cutthroat Kitchen Scout Skills Camp
September 5th thru September 7th
Theme: The Return to Camp Kanza
Retro vibes and culinary challenges collide at our third annual Cutthroat Kitchen! With the success of our event in years past, we are eager to return for another thrilling adventure filled with camping, cooking, and endless fun!
Welcome to an action packed weekend with new contests, fun activities, reliving the good old days, along with the favorite meal challenges. We have something planned for everyone. Friday evening will include a special OA campfire at the original OA campfire ring. Saturday’s events will include the much-anticipated cooking competitions for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert, along with activities and challenges to entertain all. New this year– a chance to enter the Iron Chef competition! We’ll end the day Saturday by sharing desserts will all, a Campfire program and Awards. We hope your unit joins us at Camp Kapun (formerly Camp Kanza) for this retro themed event.
Excitement: To be the highlight on the scouting calendar, attracting participants eager for a weekend of adventure and camaraderie. Scout Troops from across the region will converge for a chance to showcase their culinary skills and compete for fun and prizes.
Scouts' Cooking Showcase: Scouts will cook at their campsites, aiming to WOW the judges with their meals. Each troop will have the chance to demonstrate their cooking skills and creativity, presenting dishes that reflect the adventurous spirit of the event.
