What is a National Scout Jamboree?
Scouting’s flagship event is one-of-a-kind. It’s a gathering of approximately 8,000 Scouts, leaders, and staff that showcases everything that is great about the BSA and its members. Over the course of 10 summer days, once every 4 years, the Boy Scouts of America comes together. The result is the National Scout Jamboree!
Event Information:
The National Jamboree is held at Bechtel Scout Ranch, West Virginia.
Any current Scouts BSA member registered with a Troop ages 12 but not yet 18 years old on or before July 30, 2021. Quivira Council is sending one BSA boys patrol and one BSA girls patrol. Once these patrols are full a waiting list will be created and additional patrols may be created depending on interest.
Cost: $2,950 which includes Jamboree fee, travel, shirts, patches, travel duffle bag, patrol/troop equipment and day pack.
Deposit: $350 (non-refundable) due October 15th at time of registration on Black Pug.
Payment plan: $325 due the first day of each month starting November 1, 2022 with last payment June 1, 2023. Payments will be made on-lline through Black Pug.
