NOVA Day - OUT of This WORLD

This Quivira Council NOVA Day will be located at The Cosmosphere in Hutchinson where Cub Scouts will get hands on experience with science that is "out of this world!"
Limited to only 250 Cub Scouts
The day will consist of 5 different STEM rotations Discover the wonders of space exploration in the digital dome theater. See the past and future of the world's space program in the museum. Explore our solar system and beyond in the planetarium. Discuss how the exploration of space helps us here at home and what it will be like to adventure out to life on Mars and beyond.
Sessions:
8:00 AM Check-In ♦ 8:30 AM General Session ♦ 9:00 AM Session 1 ♦ 10:00 AM Session 2 ♦ 11:00 AM Lunches and Activities ♦ 12:00 PM Session 3 ♦ 1:00 PM Session 4 ♦ 2:00 PM Session 5 ♦ 3:00 PM Closing and Museum Pass (*Note Lions/Tigers receive Cosmo patch, not NOVA. Wolf-AOL Cub Scouts will meet each of the Out of this World Nova requirements)
$25 per Cub Scout - *Lion, *Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos, AOL which includes patch (first award) or pin
$5 fee per Adult gives access to all events ♦ Fees do not include Lunch - Scouts/Adults should bring lunch or purchase food from concessions or local businesses.
**NEW INFO: Registration Closed 2-24 @ 2:30pm - NO Walk-ins, phone, or paper registration are allowed. Online payment required by check or credit card.
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST FILL OUT COVID-19 WAVIER FORM TO BE HANDED IN AT CHECK-IN.
No refunds, registration may be transferred to Cub / adult under the same booked registration.
Liability insurance is provided for all BSA registered members.
All Packs must have two-deep leadership in accordance with Youth Protection Guidelines and ALL adults must have completed Youth Protection Training. There will be very limited seating for adults in class sessions. Packs will be allowed one leader per classroom unless there is space available. Adults are welcome to all shows if space is available and to tour the exhibits.
