2026 Webelos Woods

September 18-20^th 

What is it?  WEBELOS Woods is a weekend dedicated to 4th & 5th grade Scouts, with their parents, to transition into Scouts BSA through a series of fun-filled training, activities, and advancements that will support their transition into a Scouts BSA Troop

Activities?  Scouts will learn about First Aid, Knots, safety with Technology, BB guns and range safety, plus, hike through the Mandan Scout Camp and learn what our camp has to offer the whole family.

When? Friday, Sept. 18 - Sunday, Sept. 20th Check-in begins Friday evening. Saturday morning check-in begins at 9am with opening Flags at 9:30am. Check-out concludes at 9am Sunday.

Where? Mandan Scout Camp & Training Center, 11369 Garnett, Wright, KS (Just north of Dodge City)

Supervision?  All adults in attendance must have current Safeguarding Youth Training.

Cost? Early bird is $35 for youth and $20 for adults if registered by August 28th. Regular cost is $40 for youth and $25 for adults starting August 29th. Registration closes September 11th!

Refunds? This is a rain or shine event. Refunds are not available, but fees may be transferred to another Scout or Adult under the same registration number.

Registration? This event is open to Webelos (4th grade) & AOL Scouts (5th grade).  Pre-registration is required in order for us to provide program materials to all participants.

Payments must be made online and can be by e-check or credit card. When you check-in, be prepared to provide a BSA Medical Form A&B for every youth AND adult participant.

Insurance? Liability, Sickness & Accident Insurance are provided for all registered BSA members of the Quivira Council.

Supervision? All Scouts will need to attend with their parent/guardian or, if attending with their Unit, they must have two-deep leadership and comply with the Safeguarding Youth guidelines. All adults in attendance shall have current SYT.

When making filling out your registration, please double check that you are registering as your Cub Scout Pack and not the Troop.
