All About Math

Saturday, November 14th, 2026 @ The Cosmosphere

This Quivira Council STEM Adventure Day will be located at the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson, and will be an opportunity for Cub Scouts to get hands-on Math experience. (limited to a total of only 100 Cubs).

Activities:

• Lions: Count on Me
• Tigers: Stories in Shapes
• Wolves: Code of the Wolf
• Bears: Balancing Bears
• Webelos: Math on the Trail
• AOLs: Estimations

Schedule:

• 8:30am -- Check-in
• 9:00am -- Welcome and Documentary
• 10:30am -- 1st Session
• 11:30am -- Lunch*
• 12:30pm -- 2nd Session
• 1:30pm -- 3rd Session
• 2:30pm -- 4th Session
• 3:30pm -- Dismissed

Supervision:       All Packs must have two-deep leadership in accordance with Youth Protection Guidelines and ALL adults must have completed current Youth Protection Training. There will be very limited seating for adults in class sessions. Packs will be allowed two leaders per classroom unless there is space available. All adults are welcome to all shows and to tour all the exhibits.

 Registration fee is ($30) per Cub Scout (ALL RANKS!), which includes the patch or pin.  Adult fee is ($10) per person, giving access to the museum and shows (Planetarium and Dr. Goddard's Lab). *Lunch is NOT included. Units can bring sack lunches in coolers, or purchase food from concessions or use local businesses.    

Pre-registration is required.  No registration at doors.  Online payment is required and may be made by credit card or electronic check.  Please be sure to get with Unit Leadership to get registered.  LAST DAY TO REGISTER - Friday, October 30th, 2026.  No phone or paper registrations are allowed.
