Take your Scouting adventure to Sunset Zoo! Family Zoo Day offers Scouts and their families an exciting opportunity to explore wildlife through interactive activities, educational presentations, conservation learning, advancement opportunities, and unforgettable family fun.

Cub Scout Adventure Opportunities

Cub Scouts can participate in activities supporting requirements from adventures including:

• Tigers in the Wild
• Paws on the Path
• Bear Habitat
• Critter Care
• Webelos Walkabout
• Champions for Nature
• Into the Wild
• Into the Woods

Scouts BSA Merit Badge Opportunities

Scouts BSA members can participate in educational activities related to the following merit badges:

• Sustainability
• Bird Study
• Mammal Study

The Sustainability merit badge opportunity is proudly supported by the Sunset Zoo Education Department.

Exclusive Event Patch

Participants will recieve an exclusive Family Zoo Day patch while exploring wildlife, learning about conservation, and completing event activities.

Bring the Whole Family

Parents, siblings, and friends are welcome to join the fun. Family Zoo Day is an opportunity to make memories, learn together, and discover the wonders of wildlife.
