The 2026 District Spring Camporee is being hosted by the Republican Valley Muzzleloaders Association.  The RVMA is a group of individuals that are committed to having the best experience in portraying (re-enacting) the fur trapping era, or mountain men (and women).  We will be camping at their campground, 3 miles west of Wakefield.  The campout will be done in Rendezvous style, therefore the name “Konzavous”.  Similar to Trappers Rendezvous, but without the flea market trading. Fun and learning happening together to the enjoyment of Scouts and Leaders alike.

Activities may include: Tomahawks, Black powder rifle, Flint n steel, Fire by friction, Leather working, Bow making, Archery, Trapping, or Tanning.  Even though this is Rendezvous themed, there will NOT be a trading area.  Please do not allow your scouts to bring trade goods.  Personal firearms, archery equipment, and tomahawks for use on on the ranges are NOT PERMITTED.  A map of activity locations will be provided at the Friday night leader’s meeting.
