We look forward to seeing you at Camp Buffalo in the summer of 2025! Please reserve your week and campsite today to ensure you get the space you want at the camp you love. Submit your Quick Claim Campsite reservations! $100 will secure your unit the campsite of your choice. Forms are available in the attachments and are due by February 15, 2025. Please email them to Elizabeth at elizabeth.douglass@scouting.org. Camp Buffalo reserves the right to co-locate another troop in the same campsite, if necessary.

Camp Buffalo offers programming in aquatics, shooting sports, outdoor skills, skilled trades, ecology, Eagle Quest, and our world class Brownsea Island area.

New feature this year: Skilled Trades Merit Badge Track. Scouts can sign-up for a 4 merit badge cluster of Welding, Plumbing, Electricity, and Surveying. (Scouts must be 14 to do welding)

Returning in 2025: ATV Safety Course.

Camp Buffalo is perfect for your younger Scouts looking for progression towards First Class. Register them for our Brown Sea Island courses for focused time on rank requirements for Scout, Tenderfoot, Second and First Class Ranks. Partnered with our Instructional and Brown Sea Island Swimming classes, these classes set your new Scouts up for advancement success.

We are hiring for camp staff and accepting applications for our Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program. Email Camp Director Jennifer Vandeburg at Jennifer.vandeburg@scouting.org for an application or pick one up at University of Scouting on December 7. Camp Staff Interviews will be held on Jan 18 at Cary Camp.
