Troops, Crews, Ships, and Posts are invited to set up Halloween scenes and camp Friday/Saturday night! Units are invited to set up interactive and static Halloween scenes throughout Camp Illinek. Site assignments will be assigned on a first come basis. Scene Location Options are listed in the guide. Units are responsible for their own props and manning interactive scenes.

Trail Guides will escort guests through camp every ten minutes, so expect up to 10 groups to pass by.

Camping is available for either both Friday and Saturday nights or Saturday only at no cost (2026 only). Units will be camping with other units in Compass Course, Eagles Nest, Pioneer Point, and Bunker Hill. Site assignments will be provided two weeks before the event. Units are responsible for their own meals and camping equipment.

Volunteers are needed for various positions:

• Trail Guides will entertain the guests with a story of the woods while guiding them through the trail.
• Setup Crew will assist with setting up lights, signs, caution tape, tables, canopies, and chairs.  
• Welcome Table Workers will greet guests, register unpaid guests, distribute wristbands, and manage trail groups.  
• Fire Tenders will be responsible for fires (safety and tending) at Indian Village, Firebowl, and Lyman Grove.
• Parking Attendants will manage the parking of guests.     
• Hospitality at Indian Village will assist in handing out refreshments.  
• Medical Officer will be located in Range and Target parking lot. EMT certification is requested.
