College of Commissioner Science - 2026

Join us for Scouting America National Capital Area Council's College of Commissioner Science 2026, a premier training opportunity offering degree tracks, continuing education courses, and networking/open forum discussions to strengthen your service and stay current with Scouting America policies and practices.
There are two separate training days, each requiring its own registration.
Who Should Attend
Everyone is welcome -- all registered Commissioners and anyone interested in learning more about Commissioner Service. This event is ideal for those pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Commissioner Science, as well as those seeking Continuing Education or updated best practices.
Saturday, March 14, 2026 -- In-Person Session
- Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 8304 Old Keene Mill Rd, Springfield, VA 22152
- Seven in-person class periods
- Cost: $40 through March 9 • $55 starting March 10
- Includes breakfast snacks, lunch, certificate, and patch
- Keynote Speaker: Mr. Ken Gordon, Growing Scouting Chair, Scouting America National Commissioner Service Team
- Students should print and bring their class schedule
Sunday, March 15, 2026 -- Online Session
- Four virtual classes
- Cost: $15 (includes ecertificate and patch)
- Note: Paid staff serving on Saturday attend Sunday at no charge.
