Be Part of the Action! 

You are invited to represent scouting at the National Pike District scouting booth at the Howard County Fair, from Saturday, August 8 to Saturday, August 15, 2026.

Help others to join the fun and adventure that is Scouting America. Volunteers (adults and youth) will be responsible for engaging fair-goers, sharing information about scouting programs, assisting with our camping and Raingutter Regatta display, and creating an energetic and welcoming environment.  Units can also bring their own recruiting materials or activities to display while volunteering.  

Sign up now! Each unit (Pack, Troop, Ship, Crew) should register for one or two shifts.  All volunteers normally are provided free entry to the fair while volunteering.
