The Vigil Honor is the highest recognition that is bestowed by the Lodge on members that have demonstrated exceptional service, personal effort, and unselfish interest in Scouting. It recognizes individuals who have shown alertness to the needs of others and provided distinguished service to their Lodge, Council, and Community.

This year, the Vigil will be held at the Ben Delatour Scout Ranch (BDSR) from Friday, May 8th to Saturday, May 9th. This will be an ‘all-night’ event for the Candidates and Vigil Members running the event. If you drive yourself to the event, you will need to spend 8 hours sleeping before leaving. If you have a driver that either drops you off and then picks you up the next morning, or the driver spends the night sleeping, you may go home after the ceremony.

We will have a breakfast for everyone that attends and a late lunch for those that need to stay and sleep.
