Fourth of July Parade at the Greeley Stampede

Come celebrate the 4th of July and walk in the parade at the Greeley Stampede representing all scouts from all organizations and all levels. We will be walking in the Greeley 4th of July Parade for BSA!
Please sign up if you are available: Golden Plains District: Greeley Stampede July 4th Parade
We will not be carrying the Garrison flag due to the new flag rules. Please bring shade since the younger scouts will not be under the Garrison flag any more. This is a great opportunity to show your scout spirit, patriotism, and enjoy a fun morning with the family! Feel free to bring a wagon and pull your little one in it. We are encouraging all of the units to bring their troop or pack flag / banner to walk with.
Check-In will begin at 7:30 a.m (please arrive by 8:00 a.m.) and the parade starts at 9:00 a.m. The staging area is #41: 20th Street between 11th and 10th Ave.
The parade route is 1.4 miles long and then you will need to walk back to your car or the entrance of the Stampede.

Please bring a water bottle, sun protection, mini fans, and comfortable shoes. If you'd like to bring a small cooler that you can carry on your back or pull with a wagon, that's fine. If a few people are willing to bring a large cooler on a wagon filled with ice and water bottles, please do as everyone needs to stay hydrated.
We ask that everyone be in FULL SCOUT UNIFORM. But, if you don't have your full uniform, please wear a class B/activity shirt (pack/troop shirt or generic scouting shirt) or colors that match the uniform like dark blue, black, tan, olive green, or white. Please no tie dye or pajamas.
Everyone needs to sign a waiver to be in the parade. Please print the waivers out and bring them with you. Click here for adults and click here for youth. A waiver MUST be signed and they will give you a wrist band. If you don't have this, you cannot participate in the parade. Please try to fill the online form out by July 2, if at all possible so that they can get the list ready for check - in. Bring the confirmation email on your phone or a printout for confirmation to the parade.
Let us know if you will be walking with us as we will need a head count. Click here for a SignUpGenius.
