Fourth of July Parade Hosted by Golden Plains

Come celebrate the 4th of July and walk in the parade at the Greeley Stampede representing all scouts from all organizations and all levels.
We will be walking alongside a float in the Greeley 4th of July Parade for BSA! We will not be carrying the Garrison flag in 2024 due to the new flag rules. This is a great opportunity to show your scout spirit, patriotism, and enjoy a fun morning with the family! All scouts from all organizations from all levels are welcome. Feel free to bring a wagon and pull your little one in it. Please bring shade since the younger scouts will not be under the Garrison flag any more.
Your staging number in the parade is 95 and you will check in at the blue tent which will be located at 9th Avenue and 21st Street. Click here for a map.
Check-In will begin at 7:30 a.m and the parade starts at 9:00 a.m
Please bring a water bottle, sun protection, and comfortable shoes. If you'd like to bring a small cooler that you can carry on your back or pull with a wagon, that's fine. If a few people are willing to bring a large cooler on a wagon filled with ice and water bottles, please do as everyone needs to stay hydrated.
We ask that everyone be in FULL SCOUT UNIFORM. But, if you don't have your full uniform, please wear a class B/activity shirt (pack/troop shirt or generic scouting shirt) or colors that match the uniform like dark blue, black, tan, olive green, or white. Please no tie dye or pajamas.
Everyone needs to sign a waiver to be in the parade. Please print the waivers out and bring them with you. Click here for adults and click here for youth. A waiver MUST be signed and they will give you a wrist band. If you don't have this, you cannot participate in the parade. Please bring a few extra blank waivers for others who may have forgotten them. Note, if the waiver says that a youth less than 10 years old is not allowed, please ignore that as Red already talked with the parade people to get clarification (that line does not apply to us).
Let us know if you will be walking with us as we will need a head count. Click here for a SignUpGenius.
