2026 All-Japan Pinewood Derby

February 18, 2026 (Non-DOD and DOD)

Get ready for a day of fun, friendship, and fast cars! The Pacific Rim District (BSA) and the Scouts Association of Japan (SAJ) are teaming up once again for the 2026 All-Japan Pinewood Derby. We can’t wait to see the creativity, craftsmanship, and speed of your cars on the track!

Cost:
Pinewood Derby Participants: $15
All Others: $10
Cost includes a Pinewood Derby Patch, Cub Scout Activity Stations, and lunch.

Details:

• IMPORTANT: All Pinewood Derby Cars must be mailed in or dropped off by Wednesday, March 4. We will not race any cars brought on the day of the event. More details to come.
• Trophies for each race category. More details to come.
• Scouts, please dress in your Scout uniform!
• Please follow the rules for your car found in your Scouting America Pinewood Derby Car Kit.

This event requires special access. If you are not DOD, we will need to submit your information through a Gate List. Access is not guaranteed. Please fill out registration completely and respond promptly to any emails concerning the Gate List access as we may need additional information.
