Edelweiss Fall Cub Scout Family Camp
Who: Any and all Cub Scouts!
What: Edelweiss District Fall Cub Scout family camp 'Outdoor Adventure' Weekend 2024
When: Oct 4 - 6; 2024
Where: Camp Freedom, (Frankenkaserne) Munasiedlung Germany.
How much? $25 per Scout, $15 tot lot fee, $10 staff fee, extra patches are $1.50, extra shirts are $8.50
Meal plan options! Each attendee can select which individual meals they prefer to have at the dining hall.
- $25 fee per person for...
- Friday Dinner - Spaghetti with tomato sauce or Alfredo Sauce. Garlic bread, salad and dessert
- Saturday Breakfast - biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, fruit
- Saturday lunch - grilled cheese, tomato soup or chicken noodle soup, fruit and jello
- Saturday Dinner - fried rice and teriyaki chicken and salad. Chicken nuggets for littles
- Sunday breakfast - cinnamon buns, breakfast burritos and fruit
- Sunday lunch - to go box lunch - choice of ham, turkey or cheese sandwich, fruit, dessert and bag of chips

Our 2024 fall camp theme is Outdoor Adventure! Cubs will get to experience a variety of activities to enjoy the adventures waiting for each of them in the outdoors!
Cubs will have the opportunity learn about bugs, birds, small game, the trees, plants and the amazing ecosystem they thrive in. Cubs will also learn fishing skills, sportsmanship, team problem solving, range and target activities, build existing friendships and gain new ones!
In addition to the fun the Cubs will have throughout camp, the have the potential to ear all or a portion of several elective adventures.
This camp is a Family Camp, allowing all immediate family members of a registered Cub Scout to attend. Families are not required to attend, but at a minimum, a legal guardian must be able to attend and tent with the Cub(s) for the duration of camp for the Cub(s) to be allowed to attend. Legal guardians camping with Cub Scouts are not required to be registered leaders with Scouting America.
Unit Webelos and AoLs can take this camp as an opportunity to tent together as a den or patrol to get in some of those camping requirements for adventures.
