Pine Hill District's 2025 Yeti Klondike Derby
When: Friday, January 24 – Sunday, January 26, 2025
Where: Pine Hill Scout Reservation

Get ready for an exciting weekend of Scout skill competitions at Pine Hill Scout Reservation! The Klondike Derby is a thrilling, themed event where teams use sleds to complete challenges across a multi-“city” course, culminating in a sled race. This event is designed to:

Provide a grand outdoor “winter” adventure full of fun and surprises. Test Scouts' basic camping and survival skills in a hands-on, competitive setting.

This year’s Klondike will feature Rifle Shooting and Tomahawk throwing as part of the activities. Please note:

*A signed permission slip from a parent or guardian is required for each Scout to participate in these activities. Permission slips must be turned in during registration.

*Participation in these activities is not guaranteed, as time may be limited. Weather permitting, the ranges may also be open on Sunday for additional opportunities.

Costs:

Day-Only Participation (No Camping): $15 per Scout

Full Weekend with Camping: $20 per Scout

Adult Troop Leadership: Free

SLED ROSTERS:

Due by Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

Include the ages of the Scouts on the roster. Teams with younger Scouts will receive additional points to balance the competition and encourage fair play.
