Citizenship in Society at Indigenous People’s Day at Randall’s Island

Citizenship in Society at Indigenous People’s Day Mon, Oct 9th, 1pm-3pm, 202w at Randall’s Island

 Please join us in our council-wide Citizenship in Society Merit Badge event.  GNYC Diversity Chair and Board Member, Antonio del Rosario will be leading this event along with other counselors from the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Council Committee. 

 

Earn the Citizenship in Society Merit Badge, which is now Eagle-required, by attending this event Monday, Oct 9, 2023 1pm-3pm at 20 Randall’s Island Park, NY, NY 10035.  This is a free event. 

Please be prompt as no latecomers will be admitted.  Please wear your Class A uniform.  You will be dismissed by 4pm. 

You are encourage to come earlier to watch and learn from the Pow Wow with tribe representative from all over the world. 

 Space is limited and registration will close by October 2nd. 

You must be approved by your Scoutmaster to take this merit badge, First Class rank and you must have completed at least one Eagle-required merit badge prior to this event.  Bring your blue card  and meet us in the field by the Pow Wow.
