Troop 17 of Elmhurst, Queens (Pathfinder District) is proud to host the 2024 Pathfinder Camporee:
The MacGyver Games on Sunday, October 13th at Alpine Scout Camp in New Jersey. Our Troop
is celebrating our 110th Anniversary this year, so we wanted to have the honor of hosting the
Camporee for all Queens Scout Troops! We wanted to do something a little different and include
certain events that would get Scouts to think outside the box to complete their goals. That’s why
we named it The MacGyver Games! The fictional character of MacGyver always thought outside
the box and used his smarts and skills to complete all types of tasks and goals on his wild
adventures. The theme for this Camporee is SURVIVAL HACKS! Can you HACK IT?! Can your
Patrol use your smarts, Scouting skills, and teamwork to improvise, adapt, and overcome in order
to complete your tasks and goals? Compete to be called THE BEST PATROL IN QUEENS!
