2026 Shooting Sports Weekends

Held in the Spring, the Shooting Sports Invitational is an annual competitive event held at Ten Mile River Scout Camps. This event features a variety of activities including .22, skeet, Western Action, archery and tomahawk competitions. Competitors of all levels, including beginners are welcome to attend and all activates are run by BSA and NRA Certified Range Safety Officers and or Firearms Instructors.

Please have your Marksmanship Weekends Registration Form in by March 1, 2026.

The period between March 1st and March 15th will be for late sign-ups.

For example units that are on the waiting list and / or "crossovers."

About the Event
Founded in 2008 as an augmentation of the Shooting Sports Committee of Greater New York Councils, Boy Scouts of America, by a dedicated group of Scouters to foster and promote shooting sports by educating the public, especially our youth, and promoting safety and ethics. And to foster and encourage the right of American Citizens to own and bear arms as provided by the Constitution of the United States of America.
