Citizenship In Society MB Counselor and Diversity Advisor Training

Diversity Chair and Board Member Antonio del Rosario along with other experienced counselors from the council committe will be leading this.  Thanks to Deborah Caviness for securing this location and making it accessible for marginalized communities in Queens.

This DEIB and counselor training is required to offer the Citizenship in Society merit badge in the Greater New York Councils and to become a Diversity Advisor for your unit. Join us Saturday, Feb 25, 2023  1-5PM at The Presbyterian Church of St. Albans, 190-4 119th Avenue, St. Albans, NY 11412

Space is limited, registration is required and will shut down once it is full.  If you are not able to attend, future training will be offered. This merit badge is now Eagle required and it is not allowed to be taught at Summer Camps or at MB Rallies, and we need your help in helping our scouts earn this merit badge in a condusive environment.  We also need volunteers to become the Diversity Advisor for your unit.
