Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills

Weekend for Scoutmasters and Assistants, and Other Scout Leaders

Pre-Requisites: Safeguarding Youth Training (New Youth Protection Training), Hazardous Weather, and Medical Forms A & B

MUST Attend 3 days of training:

Sat. October 24th (8AM-4PM) 

Day 1 Patrol Formation & Orientation Day at Cunningham Park's Yellow 1 Picnic Area

AND Weekend of November 7-8 (Check-in at 8AM)

Highrock 15 Cabin, Alpine Scout Camp (Lodging: Tent)

Bring with you: Tent, backpack, sleeping bag, pocketknife, rain gear, binder and pencil/pen, Mess Kit (or paper goods), utensils, Mug (must for drinking) small backpack, (day pack), to carry handouts and materials, LUNCH – brown bag with drink for Saturday. Please wear your uniform. Patrols will be responsible for bringing patrol gear such as cooking gear and dining fly.
