Join Bronx River District for an exciting Rain Gutter Regatta, a fun and competitive Cub Scout racing event where Scouts design and race their own miniature boats! Families, friends, and community members are invited to come out and cheer on the racers as they compete in this classic Scouting tradition.

The event will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Saint Helena’s Parking Lot, 1315 Olmstead Avenue, Bronx, NY 10462. Scouts will race their boats down special rain-gutter style tracks, powered only by their breath, making for exciting head-to-head competition and plenty of laughs along the way.

Participants must use official Rain Gutter Regatta boats purchased from the Scout Shop, and all boats must be fully assembled before arriving at the event. Boats can be purchased at https://www.scoutshop.org/. Only official Scout Shop boats will be permitted in the races. Awards will be presented to recognize top racers and standout boats.

In addition to the races, refreshments will be available for purchase, making it a great outing for the whole family to enjoy while supporting the Scouts.
