Please join us for Cub Scout STEM Workshop Camp at MSOE. This program will introduce Cub Scouts to STEM activities and not based on advancement. Instructors are MSOE employees. Space is limited.
Bears, Webelos and Arrow of Light
- Scouts entering 3rd through 5th graders (Bears, Webelos and Arrow of Light) - Maker Challenge Workshop. In this hands-on challenge, Scouts will explore design, creativity, and problem-solving through 3D modeling and paper fabrication. Using a Silhouette Portrait Fabricator, they'll design and build 3D shapes, then bring their ideas to life. Scouts will be challenged to assemble their creations into a unique project centered around a food theme, encouraging creativity, iteration, and application of the engineering design process..
Schedule/Details
- 1 half day (9:00AM - 12:00PM)
- Location: MSOE STEM Center (1444 N Water St, Milwaukee, WI 53202)
- Capactiy: 20 Scouts
- Open to Scouts entering grades 3-5
Costs
$65 per Cub Scout (no charge for parents)
