2026 National Jamboree
July 18-21 Washington, D.C. Area Touring (proposed)
July 22-31 Jamboree at the Summit in West Virginia
If you are a Venturer, Sea Scout or a Scout and at least 12 years old on July 22, 2026, you are eligible to register for this once-in-a-lifetime experience! Jamboree units will be formed with Scouts BSA boys, Scouts BSA girls and possibly Venturing/Sea Scout members into a Bay-Lakes Council contingent for the 2026 Jamboree.
Registration for the Jamboree is on a first-come basis to anyone who qualifies. After units have been filled, a stand-by list of alternates will be established. Participants will be assigned to a Jamboree unit consisting of 40 participants (36 youth and 4 adult leaders). Youth participants will be a member of a patrol within the unit. Our council contingent is expected to have 120 or more participants.
The Bay-Lakes Council Jamboree contingent is considering touring options and plan to leave from several locations in the council on or about July 18th. The plans include travel by motor coach bus and include visiting the Washington D.C. area during the 250th anniversary of the country. Tour details are being developed. Early bird registrants will have input on touring options. The contingent will arrive at the Jamboree on July 22, 2026 and stay through the morning of July 31, 2026, when we will travel back to Bay-Lakes Council.
Participant early bird registration cost is expected to be $2,950.00, if registered by Oct. 31st. The fee on Nov. 1st is expected to be $3,190. The final Jamboree fee may change based on pending transportation and touring costs.
