Attention Cub Scouts! 

Get ready for an out-of-this-world experience at the Annual Mountaineer Area STEM Day & Pinewood Derby Race at WVU’s Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources!

This year, we’re blasting off into the exciting world of Space and Rockets with hands-on experiments and activities that are sure to ignite your imagination. And of course, the day wouldn’t be complete without our Pinewood Derby Race to bring it all home!

WHO: Cub Scouts
 

WHEN:  March 15, 2025

• Check-In: 11 AM - Noon
• Activities: 11 AM - 1 PM
       Rocket model building workshops in the WVU Innovation Hub will be at 11 AM and Noon
       All other activities will be available from 11 AM to 1 PM
• Race: 1 PM - 2 PM
   

WHERE:  WVU Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources

REGISTRATION CLOSES:  March 5, 2025
 

COST:  Early-Bird (Before Feb 23): $10      |     Regular Price (After Feb 23): $15

• Scouts will be building a take-home wooden rocket model.  Additional rocket kits can be purchased for $5.00 when you register.
