Cub Scout Adventure Weekend
 

May 3 - 5, 2024 

WHO: Cub Scouts, parents and adult leaders. Scouts BSA youth are welcome to register with the expectation that they are acting as a den chief for the Pack, and helping the adult Pack leaders throughout the weekend. Weekend programming will be appropriate for Cub Scouts. 

WHEN: Friday, May 3 -- Sunday, May 5, 2023

WHERE: Camp Mountaineer | Morgantown, WV

FEES (Adults/Youth/Den Chiefs):  $20 before April 5 at 2:00pm | $30 after April 5

REGISTRATION: Packs should submit ONE SINGLE registration for the unit. Unit leaders can edit their registration to add members, change names, etc. until registration closes. Single registrations for Scouts and parents cannot be accomodated. 

• Registration closes 4/29 at 2:00pm
• Staff can register individually if you are not participating with a unit. 
• Campsite selection is completed in the "registrant contact" area of the registration form. Please note that campsites are assigned first-come, first served.
• Slots are transferrable, and the name, rank, and other details can be changed by editing your registration.
• All youth and adults must bring a copy of their Annual Health and Medical Record, Parts A & B (linked to the right of this page). 

PROGRAM ACTIVITIES:

Friday, May 3, 2024

• Check in at Welcome Center
• Get Pack s'mores at check-in

Saturday, May 4, 2024

• All Saturday rotations are 45 minutes in length, with 15 minutes to travel to next statioin
• Morning sessions run 8:30am to 11:30am
• Lunch in parade field, kool-aid and water provided
• Afternoon stations run 1:30pm to 4:30pm
• Activities:
  • Upper area:
    • Orienteering
    • Shooting sports
    • Crafts / gaga ball / trading post
  • Lower area:
    • Nature hike and scavenger hunt
    • Shelter building
    • COPE games / climbing tower 
• Campfire: 7:00pm with game show activities

Saturday, may 5, 2024

• Packs depart before 10:00am
• Breakfast on your own

Details on Food:

Friday night snack: s’mores pack provided by event to Pack to include cracker, chocolate, and marshmallow for Friday night over pack campfire.

Saturday Breakfast: Provided by pack

Saturday Lunch: Provided by pack - Water and Kool-Aid provided by event in the dining hall, if Packs want to picnic lunch in the parade field (i.e. bagged sandwich meal)

Saturday Dinner: Hot Dogs, Buns, Ketchup, Mustard, Chips provided by event to packs for meal in campsite.

Sunday Breakfast: Provided by Pack
