The Annual Klondike Derby is upon us! The Klondike Derby takes us back to the days of sled racing and primitive survival. Patrols from across the Council will compete and solve problems using their Scout skills, spirit, and teamwork. Larger troops are encouraged to field multiple patrols to ensure equitable competition.

FEES:
- Scouts BSA / Adult: $20 - By Jan 6 | $25 - After Jan 6
Includes lunch on Saturday, patch, & activities.
- AOL / Adult (Sat Only): $7

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Each patrol will be required to field a sled, on which they will keep their gear. Instructions for building a klondike sled can be found in the attachments section. There may be some available to borrow from neighboring units.
- Camping: Each patrol who camps overnight will receive 10 bonus points! Please indicate on your registration whether your patrol(s) intent to stay overnight or if they will be checking in Saturday morning.

- Lunch on Saturday will be provided to participants. All other meals are the responsibility of the troops/patrols, so plan accordingly!
- Reminder: All participants (youth & adult) need to bring a current copy of their Annual Health & Medical Record Parts A-B (attached).
ABOUT THE VENUE:
Doddridge County Park sits on over 250 acres just 1.5 miles off of Route 50 in West Union, WV. Lone Pine Campground at Doddridge County Park features sites for tent camping, RV Camping, and several permanent climate-controlled yurts for year-round use. The park also features several pavilions, a newly renovated pool and splash pad, wilderness trails, and several permanent buildings, including the multi-story main building for meeting, dining, and activities.
