The Mountaineer Area Council is hosting a Short-Term Camp Administrator Training for registered adult leaders who wish to manage and oversee short-term camping programs within Scouting America. This training is essential for those seeking certification as a Short-Term Camp Administrator, a requirement for administering council-organized overnight camping programs lasting one to three nights.

Participants will engage in comprehensive modules covering:

- Staff recruitment and supervision
- Safety and risk management
- Assessment and compliance with Scouting America National Camp Standards
- Who Should Attend: This training is intended for adult leaders, camp staff, and council volunteers responsible for planning or executing short-term camping programs. Attendees must be registered members of Scouting America and at least 21 years of age.
