2025 COPE Trainings: Climbing Level 2

Camp Mountaineer | Morgantown, WV

Individuals who want to be more involved in the Climbing (Natural Rock and Tower) program at Camp Mountaineer. This 2.5 day training course will focus on site selection, environmental conditions, rock climbing techniques, anchoring systems, bouldering, Climb on Safely , Climbing MB, standards and emergency scenarios and resolution.

Cost:  $30
(includes course materials, food, campsite for overnight stay)

Prequisites: 

• must be at least age 16
• must be currently registered in the BSA
• must bring a current BSA Annual Health & Medical Record (Parts A & B)
