Cub Scout Resident Camp 2024
Camp Mountaineer

Thank you for choosing to make a reservation at Camp Mountaineer during the 2024 summer camp season.  We look forward to providing a quality program experience for your Cub Scout while utilizing the 2024 Cub Scout camping theme of (COMING SOON)! 

Packs are encouraged to register as a unit to make communications and organization easier. The Parent Portal can be used for families to make individual payments directly to the council, or units can decide to collect payments themselves. 

2024 Camp Dates: 

• March 1st Campership applications due 5:00pm (MAC Units only)
• March 9th Pre-Camp Leaders Meeting 11:00am *
• April 7th 1st Virtual Pre-Camp Leaders Meeting 2:00 pm **
• April 15th Last day to pay early bird discount 5:00 pm
• May 19th 2nd Virtual Pre-Camp Leaders Meeting 2:00 pm **

*BSA Leader Meeting same day at 1:00pm
** BSA Leader Meeting same day at 3:30pm

• Cub Scouts Resident Camp: June 16th ‐ 19th
• Webelos Experience 19th - 20th

2024 Camp Fees:

• Cub Scouts:  $300 per Scout; $250 if Scout is paid in full by April 15, 2024
• Cub Scouts (with Webelo Experience): $380; $330 if paid in full by April 15, 2024
• Adults / Den Chiefs:  $165 ($220 with Webelo experience) (packs will receive 1 FREE with at least 4 Scouts and 1 additional for every 10 Scouts)
• Note:  FREE adult credits are issued to full-time adults only and not applied for nightly adults.

The pack understands and agrees that:

1. Resident camp is available to Tigers through Webelos (Scouts entering grades 1-5 in the fall).  Tigers (Scouts entering first grade) MUST attend with an adult partner.  Lions (Scouts entering kindergarten) are NOT permitted to attend summer resident camp.

2. Scout spots may be dropped without penalty by April 15, 2024.  After that, the registration is responsible for cancellation fees or a Refund Request Form must be submitted for consideration of any partial refunds.

3. Scouts are encouraged to attend camp with their den or pack at the same time.  When female Cub Scouts or den chiefs are attending, a female adult leader must be present from the pack.

4. The contact information to be provided must be the primary person in the pack who should receive Camp Mountaineer information and communications.  Frequently, camp updates and announcements will be sent to the email addresses provided of all attendees and registration contacts.
