FLAG RETIREMENT CEREMONY

Mountaineer Area Council will be hosting a Flag Retirement Ceremony on November 11, 2026 at both Camp Mountaineer.  This event will be open to the public and is a great opportunity to participate in a service project!

WHO: All Scouts

• Scouts of all ages are encouraged to attend at either location.
• The event is open to the public!  We encourage Scouts to invite their family, friends and a Veteran to join.

REGISTRATION CLOSES: November 9, 2026

• Each Unit should submit one registration. 
• Include the estimated number of Scouts that will be attending.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• Additional details will be available soon!
   
• Safeguarding Youth Training:  All adults are required to be current on their Youth Protection Training. This can be completed online prior to arrival online at www.My.Scouting.org. Please provide a copy of your completed YPT training certificate and bring to camp.
• Lions and Tigers must have an adult partner with them.
