Rules and regulations for Cub Scouts are being worked on at the moment.
Like previous races, all racers will start at the same time. Each patrol should have their sled packed and ready to go! There will be a break for lunch (not provided) with a set time to return to the course. All stations may not be completed but scouts will collect points along the way. Not all stations can have more than one sled at a time so plan your movements appropriately!! The point is to work as a team with scout spirit! Challenge yourself and put skills to the test. Each patrol will need to prepare a sled with all the necessary scouting equipment and prepare themselves with the scout spirit. Like years before, scout patrols who show the best scout spirit will collect GOLD NUGGETS and even if they don’t win the race, they can win the prize!
Each patrol sled should have a minimum of 5 youth and maximum of 10 youth in participation. Those troops with over 10 youth should have multiple sleds. All sleds will be checked in to ensure all required items are packed. All participants should have at least 1 liter water bottle full. Each sled should have extra water for refill. Despite being chilly, there are hills and sometimes running that could dehydrate you so, be prepared!! Hydrate, not diedrate!
List and schedule will be posted soon. All participants will need their A&B health form.
