Cub Scout Day Camp


Are you looking for some extra outdoor fun this summer? Check out the Cub Scout Summer Day Camp hosted by the Shenandoah Area Council at the Greencastle Sportsman Association. Scouts will have the opportunity to earn some belt loops while enjoying lots of fun activities and games including fishing, STEM, archery, BB, rifle, and slingshot - plus presentations each day.
Open to all Cub Scouts (Lions, Tigers, Wolf, Bear, Webelos & Arrow of Light) and their siblings (age 5-10) and parents. Note: Lions and Tigers must have a parent with them.
*Please select the rank and grade your scout will be as of June 1st, 2026*
Summer Day Camp will run daily from Monday, July 13th through Friday, July 17th. Each day will begin at 8:45 am and end at 4 pm. Pack your lunch and snacks. Each Cub Scout will receive a camp t-shirt, patch, and water bottle.
The week will conclude with a closing campfire and awards ceremony on Friday starting at 2 pm and ending at 3 pm.

PLEASE NOTE:
This is a FAMILY activity. The Scout can register to participate in this activity with or without their Den or Pack. A parent or legal guardian is NOT required to attend with the Cub Scout (unless they are a Lion or Tiger). Siblings are permitted to attend with the Cub Scout youth (if they are 5 or 6 years old a parent or legal guardian must attend with them). *Please select the rank and grade your scout will be as of June 1st, 2026*
ALL participants (youth and adults) are required to have a BSA Health Form part A&B with them when they check in on Monday.
Lion and Tiger Adult Partner: In Lion (kindergarten) and Tiger (first grade) dens, each Scout is required to have a parent or other caring adult with them at all meetings and activities. For each Lion and Tiger registered for this event, an adult partner (parent or guardian) is required to register and attend.
