2025 Albemarle District Fall Camporee

A camporee can be a perfect showplace for the Scouting program and, therefore, go far beyond just being a gathering of youth. A camporee starts with the recognition that a patrol is the basic camping unit. The patrol demonstrates its very best camping techniques and shares its experiences with other patrols. The camporee involves the type of equipment that can be carried in a pack by youth and can be set up entirely by them, allowing them to be completely self-sufficient for a self-reliant experience.
Albemarle District will hold it’s Fall Camporee October 3 – 5, 2025. This year camporee will be held in the Outer Banks with the theme of the Outer Bank Historic Trail. The Outer Banks Historic Trail provides scouts and scouters opportunity to expand their outdoor experiences and learn more about the rich history of the Outer Banks in North Carolina. They will also have opportunities to learn more about the coastal environment, conservation, and the rich natural resource heritage of the area while earning the coveted trail medal and patch.
More information will come soon about this event. Mark your calendars! It's going to be packed of fun and adventure!
All Tidewater Scouts BSA, Venture Crews, Sea Scout Ships and Posts are welcomed and encouraged to attend. We hope to see you there.
