The NRA Rifle Instructor /BIT Training class is designed to develop NRA Certified Instructors who possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to conduct the NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course. NRA Rifle Instructor Training begins with the NRA (BIT) Basic Instructor Training  class, which must be completed at the same time. Both classes together form the required course for NRA Rifle Instructor certification. While we do teach the basic class, the students should have some experience with rifle shooting. The class is not designed to take someone with no shooting experience and turn them into a qualified instructor for that type of firearm.

Read the WHOLE Text, there is very important information listed in it that will be critical for you to sign up and attend this course!

You must attend all three days.

If you already have a NRA Instructor rating, then you have the BIT rating, but the BIT Class you took to get that rating has to be within the preceeding two years of this class date.

If all you have is RSO (Range Safety Officer), then you MUST take the BIT class with this class.

Registration for the class closes Wednesday, the week of the class.

NOTE: There is a credentialing fee with the NRA which is not included in the cost of the trianing.  NRA Membership is not required to become an NRA Instructor.

To register for a class, fill out the registrant section of the registration form. Once all the required questions (boxes with the red text above) are filled in, you can then click on the Checkout Tab, and complete payment for the class. Only after you've done all this and paid, is your registration for the class complete.
