Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS)

Event Details

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) is important training for anyone involved at the Scouts BSA Troop level. This is required training for any Scoutmaster or Assistant Scoutmaster.

You will learn all the outdoor skills to effectively lead your Scouts through their First Class ranks. Saturday, July 26th, you'll arrive at Camp Perkins by 8:00 am, set up your campsite in front of the Dan Beard building, and start your training! All meals will be provided Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. We expect this training to end no later than 11:00 am Sunday morning. Attendees may arrive Friday after 8pm.

If you have any questions, please contact Robert Richardson, Council Training Chair, at nwtctraining1920@gmail.com or Melody at melody.salas@scouting.org.
