Advanced Leader Training

Wood Badge is the highest-level training program for adult Scout leaders in all scout program areas and Scouting Professionals...this means YOU !!

You will learn skills to be a more effective leader, manage conflict and develop your adult & youth leaders so they can effectively plan projects and achieve objectives. The first section (two weekends) is practical training which takes place in classroom and outdoor settings; during this portion of the course you will learn and practice a variety of leadership skills. During the second section, you will apply your newly acquired skills to complete five goals of your choosing that will have a positive and lasting impact on your unit, district or council.

Who can attend…?
Registered adult Scout leaders and Venturers 18 years and older.

When…?
First 3-day weekend Feb 18-20, 2023 (Sat-Mon)
Second 2-day weekend Mar 18-19, 2023 (Sat-Sun)

Course Fee…?
$270 includes a once-in-a-lifetime training experience. (Early Bird Registration Fee of $250 ends Nov 7th)

(Payment Structure)

• New registrations made between 2022-07-23 12:00 AM and 2022-10-08 12:00 PM will be charged $50.00 Deposit and will make two additional payments of $110 by Oct 8th, then the final payment of $90 by Feb 6th.
• New registrations made between 2022-10-08 12:01 PM and 2022-12-01 12:00 PM will be charged $160.00 and a make one additional payment of $90 if registred prior to Nov 7 at Noon CT. Registrations after Early Bird cut off will make one additional payment of $110 by Feb 6th..
• New registrations made between 2022-12-01 12:01 PM and 2023-02-06 12:00 PM will make one payment and be charged $270.00 

The balance must be paid in full by 6 Feb 2023. Payments can be made online, in person, or mailed to, the East Texas Area Council Scout Office at 1331 E 5th St, Tyler, TX 75701.
